Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay welcomed Member for Parramatta Donna Davis MP for morning tea at Our Lady of Lebanon Parish. The gathering was attended by Vicar General, Msgr Marcelino Youssef, Judicial Vicar, Fr Alain Fares and Deacon Sayed Issac, along with Parish clergy, and Sr Irene Boughosn and Sr Margaret Ghosn representing the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family.
Also in attendance were coordinators and members of the Our Lady of Lebanon Stewardship Committee and the Parish Pastoral Council, the Maronite Ladies of the Gospel, the Our Lady Aged Care Centre and Parishioners.
The meeting was an opportunity to raise matters of importance to the Parish and to the Maronite College of the Holy Family, and update Ms Davis on the ongoing projects and events including the Golden Jubilee of our Maronite Eparchy.
Ms Davis expressed her continued commitment and eagerness to work closely with the community on shared endeavours that will contribute to growth and prosperity.
