On Saturday 3 September within our Eparchy, a significant event took place at St Joseph’s Parish in Croydon as we witnessed the ordination of five men into the subdiaconate: Stephan Gerges, Joseph Khoury, Jason Maait, Charbel Mourani, and Eddie Sallan.

This marked a tremendous blessing for our Church and a monumental occasion for these five men and their families. Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay, congratulated the ordinands saying, “These men are called to make this journey with the Lord himself, and His name will be known and glorified through them, through their call to serve. I extend my congratulations to our new Subdeacons, to their families and to the community.:
