Our Lady of Lebanon Church, Melbourne hosted the Eastern Christian Churches Recital in the presence of the relics of our saints in the Golden Jubilee Reliquary. The event brought together choirs from all the Eastern Churches who showcased their talents.

His Excellency, Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay said, “Just as the Apostles came from the different parts of the world to praise the Lord and farewell His Mother Mary, we gather here tonight from different Apostolic traditions to venerate her on the Feast of the Dormition of our Lady.”

Bishop Tarabay thanked all the choirs for their beautiful singing but also took the opportunity following the performance of the Ukranian Choir, to pray for the immediate stop of the war and for peace in Ukraine.
